As a result, Victoria felt defeated in ever being able to come to terms with her abuse. Dreams as Vehicles of Insight and Change Victoria did not disclose the sexual abuse until the sixth month of therapy, and within a week had the woodshed nightmare. She continued to record dreams but it was four months before the next sexual abuse dream occurred, although not recognized by her as such.
